Reports have suggested that the price offered by Hartlepool United for Darryl Duffy is in the region of £120,000.
Vital Hartlepool understands that this offer was made when the strikers loan spell at Victoria Park ended and has remained on the table ever since.
It is unknown whether Pools will up their bid but no decision is expected until manager Danny Wilson returns from holiday.
Hull chairman Adam Pearson is believes that Duffy is worth far more than that and has slapped a half a million pound price tag on the in demand Scot.
Recently Bristol City joined the race to sign Duffy along with Swansea, Hibernian and ourselves but we are thought to be the only side who have made a firm offer.

I hope you get him, City can be very persuasive. However if you have put in an offer (which is pretty good) i cant see why he wouldnt come
Wonder if he will end up at Swansea?
Not unless he can help it??
