James Brown played nearly 70 minutes as Hartlepool United Reserves held their Lincoln City counterparts to a draw at Sincil Bank.
Trialist Martin Vinther also started the game as Pools opened the scoring after just 3 minutes, James Brown tapped home following a corner which caused a goalmouth scramble.
At the other end Nathan Adams had a penalty shout turned down for the hosts before trialist James Reid brought the scores level with a thunderbolt from outside the area.
A defensive mix up nearly allowed Billy Greulich to give Pools the lead but his effort went narrowly wide just before the half time interval.
Lincoln had the better of the game in the second half but both Brown and second half substitute Michael Mackay were denied by experienced keeper Paul Musselwhite.

Does the order in which the players names are listed relate in any way the the positions they played in?
I don’t think so, this is the only info I could find however.
numbers worn maybe? with armann at centre back with number 5?
I feeeeeeeeeeeel gooooooooooooooood. Hopefully he will be fit to start on Saturday!
Bjornsson definitely played in defence if that’s any use?
Perhaps that is the position we should be playing him in the 1st team as he has played there a lot throughout his career. He does not impress me as a striker in any way, shape or form.
