Chris Turner has told Pools fans that James Brown will be ready to start first team games again if he gets through this afternoon’s reserve game unscathed.
Pools second string face Lincoln this today and Turner said that Brown would play most of the game”James will start today’s game and he is going to have a good hour.”
Whether Turner will start him against Southend on Saturday is unknown but he told the Mail he’ll be considered if he gets through the game today.
”He is ready to start reserve games and if he gets through 60 minutes okay, he is virtually ready to compete for his first start in the first-team over the next two weeks or so.”
