Turner Rules Out Swoop For Norwegian International

Hartlepool United have distanced themselves from a potential move for Norwegian midfielder Magne Hoseth today.

The former Norwegian international was linked to Pools by press in Scandinavia last week and Vital Hartlepool reported the story of this interest first on Saturday morning.

However this morning both the Hartlepool Mail and the Northern Echo incorrectly reported that the player was due to sign this week, something that the club has said is not the case.

Turner told the official site that both papers were wrong and that Hoseth was not a target ”We are looking at all markets both home and abroad to try and improve our squad. But I can categorically rule out the signing of Magne Hoseth because he simply is not on our radar.

”We want to bring good players to the football club. But I think we have to be realistic about the ones we target”
