5) Turner Still Aiming For Top Ten Finish
Adam Boyd gave Chris Turner a selection dilemma by scoring a hat-trick for Pools’ second string in a convincing victory over Grimsby Reserves. Armann Bjornsson partnered Boyd up-front and Colin Larkin showed his ability by opening the scoring. And Reece Jones pressed for a Pools contract with a stunning 5th goal for Pools.

4) Turner: Humphreys Is Recovering Well
Chris Turner insisted that Ritchie Humphreys was well on the road to recovery after his Achilles injury. Humphreys is expected to be included in the squad for next weeks visit to Colchester.
