Mistakes Frustrate Murray

Manager Paul Murray has said we are still making too many mistakes following our three one loss to Wycombe Wanderers.

Having seen us concede another three goals he believes were avoidable, adding to the fact we missed from 12 yards, a frustrated Murray told the Official Site at full time.

‘It’s another disappointing afternoon. I thought we had started the game very well, we had a couple of good corners in and we had some good deliveries into the box. The first 15 minutes was exactly what we wanted. But individual errors have cost us again.’

Murray goes on to say that he knows it’s been happening all season long and ultimately it’s the reason why we are where we are in the table, but for him it’s not so much working on the training ground to eradicate them it’s about the players themselves stepping up and ‘showing the desire’ during matches to stop them from happening and the way to do that is mental focus and concentrating properly.

‘All we can do is get back to work this week and focus on what we need to do on Friday now.’

In front of the BBC cameras, FA Cup, Blyth Spartans – it’s time for a reaction and it’s down to the players.
