Hartlepool Look At Blackburn Defender

Hartlepool United have taken Blackburn Rovers defender Andy Parry on trial.

Central defender Parry played in Pools’ reserve match yesterday and comes from the same youth system that produced recent loanee Jake Kean.

A regular for Rovers’ reserve side, the player has failed to break into the first team at Ewood Park and looks set to leave the Premier League club this summer.

The 19-year-old is also comfortable playing in central midfield and also played in Pools reserve game with Leeds a fortnight ago.
