Hartlepool United look set to make a summer move for Manchester City striker James Poole.
The striker spent time on loan at Victoria Park during October and November and Pools boss Mick Wadsworth has been keeping tabs on the player ever since.
The 21-year-old has been told he can leave the Eastlands side and both Wadsworth and Pools’ chief scout Peter Eustace have watched several of City’s reserve games in recent weeks.
