Former Hartlepool loanee Darryl Duffy has admitted that Hull boss Phil Brown may be the one who decides which club his future lies at.

Swansea City is thought to be his number one choice, after he scooped the League One Player of The Month he admitted to BBC Wales ‘I’ve absolutely loved my time here. They play good football, the type of game that I like.’

‘I’m unsure about my future, it’s down to the Hull manager. I’m meeting him on Tuesday to see what he’s got to say,’

The Hull manager is former Pools player Phil Brown and could he influence the board into selling to the club he chooses, despite this it is expected the Hull board will let Duffy talk to the highest bidder.

Swansea City Chairman Huw Jenkins said of the situation ”It doesn’t concern me that Hartlepool have supposedly made an offer for Darryl,’

‘We are monitoring the situation.

With Swansea stalling and the chairman interested in other targets such as St. Johnstone hitman Jason Scotland there could be a chance to bid big and rap up the deal before any rivals get serious.
