David Martin In Talks With Pools

It has been revealed that Liverpool goalie David Martin is in talks with Hartlepool United.

David’s Father, Alvin Martin, revealed on TalkSport that his son was in talks with ‘a north eastern League One club’, forgive me for putting 2 and 2 together here but we are surely the only side who matches this description.

Martin has yet to make a first team appearence for the reds but spent time on loan at Accrington Stanley last year where he started 10 games and kept 2 clean sheets. He played at the Vic in the match between Pools and Stanley in April.

He is 6’2′ and has been capped by England at U20 level, he joined Liverpool in 2006 after playing at MK Dons under Danny Wilson.
