Several newspapers have reported that Pools boss Danny Wilson is about to complete the signing of 3 players.

Middlesbrough midfielder Jason Kennedy, Motherwell striker Ross McCormack and Yeovil Town forward Marcus Stewart are the latest names to be linked with a move to the Vic.

Jason Kennedy is out of contract and has made just six appearances at the Riverside. He spent time on loan at both Bury and Boston last season and is good friends with Gary Liddle.

Ross McCormack has played against Pools and scored a 30-yard screamer against us in April 2006. The 21-year old has scored three times in seven Scottish Premier League games last season and Wilson is trying to sign up the Motherwell man.

Marcus Stewart currently plays for Yeovil Town having slid down the leagues after his Sunderland exit. He is 34 but has scored 13 in 44 games for Yeovil.

The Motherwell lad looks like a great player and i would love to see him signed, Jason Kennedy could turn out to be another Garry Liddle and would be worth a shot. I’m not to sure on Stewart, though, he could add vital experience to the team but he’s hardly set the world alight anywhere he’s been, I would go for a McCormack over him.
