Colin Nish: I’m Happy To Go Back To Hartlepool

Hartlepool United castaway Colin Nish says he is prepared to return to the club when his loan spell at Dundee expires.

Nish made a temporary switch to the SPL side in August but could return in January when his deal at Dens Park comes to an end.

The striker made the move to Dundee after being frozen out by Neale Cooper, and admits that his personal future is up in the air after Cooper’s departure.

”It’s difficult when you are not there so I don’t know exactly what the situation is at Hartlepool.

”The old manager came in when I had a few injuries and I don’t know if it was maybe the assistant manager that decided I wasn’t in their plans or Neale.

”I didn’t know what was happening before the manager left so I don’t know what will change now to be honest.”

Nish started as his Dundee side beat Hearts on Saturday but the Dee remain rooted to the bottom of the SPL. The forward said he was concentrating on helping the team out of trouble at present, but is prepared to return to his parent club.

”I’m signed with Hartlepool and I want to honour my contract there. If they want me to go back and play there I’d be happy to go back, and if they don’t I’d be happy to look at other things.

”I’m giving my full attention to Dundee and hopefully help them to climb the table.”
