Hartlepool United today revealed that two stands at Victoria Park have been renamed after a new sponsorship deal.

Pools have expanded their relationship with the Hartlepool College of Further Education which will see their name brand the Town End.

Meanwhile the Millhouse Stand will be renamed by local recycling firm Niramax for the new season. Until last year the stand had been sponsored by Cameron’s Brewery.

I understand that the money is important, especially as the crowds are down. As fans we will still call them the Town End and Mill House Stand, the same way that fans at other clubs do.

I agree. Its good we have additional income, which despite what people may say, we all want so that we can compete. The name is purely for commercial reasons. As fans we will still use the old names.
