Mick Wadsworth has admitted his confidence over the lack of the goals debate – statng he is adamant that his side will find the net soon.

Poops haven’t scored in 3 games, and have only found the net a worrying 26 times thus far. However, Mick Wadsworth feels that the goals will begin to flow, hopefully starting today away at Peterborough. ”I don`t even think of it in terms of time without a goal because I cope with it as we go along. Top Scorer Antony Sweeney has 10 goals, and his tally is followed behind by 4 strike Gary Liddle, with the strikers failing to top the goal charts. Wadsworth though, believes the goals are in the camp.

”It’s not a worry for me, though, I`m aware of it and if we keep playing like we did at Bristol then we will score. the good thing is we`ve got more than one player who has got a goal in them – that`s quite comforting that we`re not relying on one player. But a goalscorer would be nice – hopefully we`ve already got him at the club.” He told the Echo
