Hartlepool were beaten by Doncaster in League 2 on Saturday.
After Doncaster lost ‘keeper Marko Marosi to injury his replacement Ross Etheridge gave the ball to Padraig Amond who would beat him instantly but his curler his the post with Donny breaking away when John Marquis putting them ahead.
However, Hartlepool were level shortly before half time when Amond picked himself up to score from the penalty spot after he had been fouled by Mathieu Baudry.
A point turned into none when Hartlepool were beaten at the death when Liam Mandeville won it for Doncaster when set up by Marquis.
