Former Hartlepool United star Tommy Miller says he would love to make a return to Victoria Park.
The 32-year-old midfielder was released by Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month and says he’d be interested in returning to the club where he started his career.
”I would definitely speak to Hartlepool if I knew they were interested. I don’t know if they are, but I wouldn’t rule anything out.”
Although no approach has been made yet, Miller continued his ‘come and get me’ plea by saying that Pools are a club close to his heart.
”Hartlepool is a club which means everything to me. I had a great time there and they were the club which set me on my way – I owe them a lot.” he told the Mail.
”You never know in football, I’m going to take a little bit of a break and just see what happens.”
