Hartlepool United midfielder Gavin Strachan will join League Two rivals Peterborough on a one month loan deal tomorrow.

Strachan will sign in time to be in contention for the Posh’s home game with League leaders Walsall.

Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson told Pools official website:

‘It’s a good opportunity for Gavin, he needs regular games and hopefully this move will benefit him in that way.

Gavin’s been working really hard and we all hope he can do well with Peterborough.’

Strachan has been frozen out of the first team almost since the arrivals of Gary Liddle and Willie Boland who have formed an excellent understanding in the centre of the Pools midfield.

Good luck Gavin.
