Rotherham United have offered a contract to striker Jon Macken, after a potential move to Hartlepool collapsed.
Macken had joined Pools for a trial spell but the deal for the former Manchester City man fell through, thought to be over money problems.
”He was going to Hartlepool, but the deal fell through. So, now we have put an offer in.” Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore told the Advertiser.
Moore went on to say that fellow League Two side Bradford are also interested ”He has a good goal ratio of one in four and at this level will get goals. But Bradford City are also interested in him.”

Hardly a surprise, IOR pay peanuts therefore we get chimps – highly appropriate I would have thought. The sooner they sell up and clear off the better.
