Pools Chasing Striker?

It appears that Hartlepool United are keeping an eye on former Lincoln City youth striker Adam Kerley. Our friends on the Vital Lincoln site are currently running a story linking Pools with a move for the now Eastwood Town striker.

Kerley made just one substitute appearance for the Imps before leaving Sincil Bank after failing to agree terms with manager Keith Alexander, he originally joined Gainsborough but failed to impress and suffered a broken rib in the early weeks of his stay.

Kerley is now on the books of Eastwood Town were he has gone on to scored 11 goals in 16 starts, helping Eastwood away from the relegation places.

Apparently Pools have made an enquiry about Kerley’s availability and a deal could well be on the cards, I guess this is a case of ‘watch this space’.

With any signing there’s no gaurantee that they will be a success. There’s no harm in giving him a year contract because he would be on low wages and be too costly. And there’s always the added bonus that we could uncover a gem.
