Pools Boss Wilson Admits It’s A Difficult Time

Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson admits that he made some tough decisons when he announced his retained list last week.

Wilson told the official website that it wasn’t nice ”It is a difficult time for everybody concerned at the Football Club. Whether you’re management or players, it is not an easy time.”

”The economics of any Football Club mean that you have to make changes – you can’t just wait for every player to mature.”

Wilson said that Pools don’t have money to spend and that funds must be used wisely ”Like anything, you have to cut your cloth accordingly unless you have benefactors at the Club who are willing to put in millions of pounds.

”You have to try and run the Football Club based on your income and that is what this Football Club is trying to do.”
