14. Paul Stephenson

13. Hugh Robertson
2004-2006, 46 appearances, 6 goals
Left back Hugh Robertson made the move to England in 2003. A true fans favourite, he was known for his lethal free kicks but his best strike for the club game in the 4-3 win over Luton in 2004 when he smashed home from 40 yards.

12. James Brown
2006-present, 129 appearances, 32 goals

11. Michael Nelson
2003-2009, 306 appearances, 16 goals
Defender Nelson joined the club from Bury in 2003 and settled in immediately, winning numerous awards in his first season. He helped Pools to two play-off finishes in League One but poor performances in his last couple of seasons left a lot to be desired, he left the club to join Norwich in 2009.
