Hartlepool United midfielder Jon-Andre Fredriksen has left the club by mutual consent, it has been confirmed.
Fredriksen was one of Chris Turner’s many signings last summer but struggled to break into the Pools first team under both Turner and then Mick Wadsworth.
With the midfielder making just 2 substitute appearances so far this season it has been agreed that he will leave the club and return to his native Norway in search of a new club.
The 28-year-old made 16 appearances during his time at Victoria Park and played a key role for the reserve team during his spell at the club.
