Ironside Added

Paul Murray completed another loan signing ahead of our weekend League 2 meeting with York City, with Joe Ironside coming in from Sheffield United.

Ironside came on for his debut at the Vic but he couldn’t prevent us from losing.

The 21 year old, who funnily enough hails from Middlesbrough (the source of many of our players in recent times), will stay with us until the end of the year and he’ll be charged with chipping in with some goals to help our survival bid.

Positively, even in defeat, Murray’s other striker signing recently Scott Fenwick was able to open his account for us on his full debut but that couldn’t stop us from losing that ‘must win’ game 3-1.

No pressure Joe, or Scott, for that matter!
