Interview With A Stockport Fan

Ahead of the game tonight we caught up with Stockport fan Jon to get the lowdown on his side.

You were in some financial difficulties last season, how has that affected the club going into the new campaign?

Its affected the club a lot, however Ablett and the squad seem to be gelling well and we have had a good start with the squad we have got.

The loss of Jim Gannon was a big blow, how do you think Gary Ablett has performed since taking charge?

Yes, Gannon was a huge loss but Ablett is doing a great job with the squad he has and he seems the right man to take County forward.

Where do you see your season going? Can you get up near the top of the table or do you predict something nearer the bottom?

Well, I think we can finish in the top half certainly, so I think we will finish 8th.

Who’s the player we should watch out for in the game tonight?

Our forward Nick Bignall, he’s fast, strong and can score goals.

Finally, what’s your prediction for the game?

It will be a good test for County but I think County may edge it, I’m going for 3-1 to the Hatters.
