Time for me to remind you before your team selection and subs. Top strikers at clubs need to be on the pitch to score so don’t take your top goalscorer off when we are 2-1 down, madness. If the players fail on Saturday like Zola at Birmingham move on with honour intact.
Right team selection. Get Bates back in the side and move Walker into central midfield. He scores and gives the team height in attack and he is good on the ball if you hadn’t noticed, he can help defensively as well. I will leave you to pick the rest of the midfield but put some energy in there. And play Amond up front.
I have said before we need a win Saturday as I don’t think we can expect much from Cheltenham or Doncaster games under our current form. Maybe the best hope is the playoff chasing teams namely Accrington, Carlisle and a rousing display by County (Notts) that is against Newport. I will be wearing my lucky pants Saturday, in fact every Saturday until May 7th.
