Gamble Set To Make Shock Comeback

Hartlepool United midfielder Joe Gamble will make a shock comeback from his ankle injury in today’s reserve team game.

Gamble was expected to be out for another 3 weeks but his injury has progressed ahead of schedule and he will make his return as a substitute in the game with Hull this afternoon.

Coach Micky Barron told the official website that he was pleased to have him back in contention ”We’re hoping to give him half an hour towards the end when the game slows down a bit.

”He’s trained for three or four days now so it’s all about trying to get some match fitness back in to him.”
