Dimi Turns Down Contract Offer

Earlier today the club released an official statment on the website regarding goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos.

‘Hartlepool United have been advised by Dimi Konstantopoulos’ agent that the goalkeeper has rejected the offer of a new contract at Victoria Park.

‘There will be no further comment at this time.’

There is bound to be plenty of speculation about this statement, we all know Ken Hodcroft’s opinion on agents and the ‘no further comment part at this time’ seems to indicate there are a few twists left in this tale yet.
