Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has admitted that he can’t compete with the bigger clubs in League One.
Pools are unable to match the spending power of Leeds and other clubs and Wilson told the Echo ”We can’t compete financially, hopefully we can get the best of what is available and put a squad together which is very strong and very committed.”
Wilson admitted that he hopes Pools can still get a star ”We want that quality of player who can turn a game with a bit of magic.”
