Hartlepool United have only 9 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League Two.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Hartlepool United find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are three games remaining in the campaign as we continue to push for League Two survival this year.
Sitting in 22nd place in the table on 43 points, we are now one point off Newport County in 23rd place in the relegation zone so there is in effect no longer even a small semi comfortable buffer zone.
Something has to give though as Newport’s form is better than ours despite their last slip up, so the sooner we can get a victory on the board again the better.
It’s a lot tighter than it could’ve been though.
