Wilson Admits Pools Were Second Best

Danny Wilson has admitted that his side were second best in last nights encounter with Leicester City.

Pools crashed out of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy after being overpowered by the Foxes and Wilson praised the visitors ”You have to say that as the game went on the quality that Leicester has shone through really.”

”Perhaps we were a bit unlucky not to go in a goal to the good at the break but overall the best side won the game in the end.”

Wilson went on to tell PoolsWorld that he’s taking plenty of positives from the game ”There were positives to take; I thought Matty Robson came in and did very well on the left, knocking some superb balls in to the box.”
