Hartlepool United defender Darren Williams will be sidelined for three to four weeks with a calf strain.
Right back Williams left the pitch after 35 minutes of Friday nights disappointing 2-0 away defeat at Lincoln City.
Speaking to the club official website gaffer Danny Wilson said:
‘It is a real disappointment because he has been very solid in every game for us this season. It is a blow for him and for me because of his form and we will miss him.
But that just presents a chance for someone else to come in and show their worth to the team.’
Club captain Michael Barron will now get his chance in Williams place.

Michael Barron , wasn’t he very highly rated a few years ago ? maybe just me but I thought he was , anyway good luck to the lad on recovering soon and good luck to your replacement !
That is a bit of a blow for your squad but im sure you will cope
Darren Williams has been tremendous and it will be a big blow but at least we can replace him with our club captain, Micky Barron and yes a few years ago he was highly rated.
