Mick Wadsworth had admitted that he wants a return to winning ways, as Hartlepool United prepare to take on rock bottom Dagenham.

Successive 3-0 and 4-1 reverse score lines in the last two outings have followed up from 7 wins in 8, and Wadsworth wants his side to return to a winning habit starting today.

He told the official website, ” Make no bones about it, this will be a tough battle on Saturday.

”We want to maintain our respectable position in the table and this is a game we want to win and we must win – we need to get back to winning ways, that’s for sure. It will be a battle but we’ll be ready for them.”

Pools have no new fresh injury worries, but Sam Collins is unlikely to feature, but he may in midweek against Bristol Rovers. James Brown is expected to play the lone role up front, with assistance from the wings provided by Andy Monkhouse and Leon McSweeney.
