Vital Hartlepool Awards: Best Young Player

Time for another Vital Hartlepool Award, this time we turn to youth to choose the young player who had the biggest impact this season.

In previous years there’s been defined age limit but due to a high number of votes for older players we’ve decided that only those who were aged 21 or below on 8th August 2009 are eligible.

So it’s the recently released Jonny Rowell who takes the award, he made 1 start and 6 sub appearances during the season with runner-up Billy Greulich making 5 first team appearances, all from the bench. Greulich also finished top scorer for the reserves.
