Vital Hartlepool Awards: Best Loan Signing

Hartlepool United recruited several loan signings during the 2007/08 season but many failed to make an impact.

That meant fans weren`t left with much choice when it came to voting for the best loan signing. The Vital Hartlepool Award goes to:

Alan Thompson

The former Celtic and Newcastle man played 7 games in a loan spell from Leeds, scoring one goal. The other serious contender was Eddie Nolan who had a steady loan spell from Blackburn.
