Hartlepool drew with Morecambe in League 2 on Saturday.
Fellow strugglers Morecambe and Hartlepool shared the points in a 1-1 draw, ending losing runs for both – it has been seven for the Shrimps with Poolie losing the previous three.
A half time Hartlepool lead was secured when Lewis Alessandra combined with Padraig Amond, both formerly of Morecambe, but all three points were denied by the home side due to a second half leveller, ahead of the hour.
