Hartlepool secured a win over Exeter in League 2 on Saturday.

The Hartlepool survival bid was improved when they came from a goal down to beat Exeter – who remain in the top seven – 3-1 at Victoria Park.

Lewis Allesandra’s goal midway through the second half levelled up the scores with Padraig Amond putting Pools ahead. Allesandra’s second in added time to sealed the points.
