Hartlepool drew with Crawley in League 2 on Saturday.

After Blackman fouled Thomas the in-form goalscorer had the chance to make it seven-gaols in seven-matches from the penalty spot but saw his early effort save, fortunately Alessandra was able to head in the rebound to put Hartlepool ahead.

The frame of the goal denied Boldewijn and Smith before Crawley finally equalised late on when Collins converted his own penalty after being fouled by Carroll.

Hartlepool’s first home win of the season is still to come with Crawley almost winning it when Clifford curled an effort onto the crossbar.
