Hartlepool were beaten by Cheltenham in League 2 on Saturday.
Cheltenham assured their League 2 safety whilst pushing Hartlepool closer to non-league. The Robins’ 1-0 win – thanks to Danny Wright’s first half winner – means they’ll stay in the Football League but a final day victory for Pools might not be enough to see them finish above Newport, 22nd.
