Chris Turner has sent a rallying call to his players, by stating that it’s time they turn they performances into wins.
Hartlepool United have unquestionably played very well in recent months without gaining the deserved 3 points – or even point. Chris Turner though, has called on his players to do business and climb Pools up the league.
”We’ve got 13 games remaining and we need to be looking to put a little run together and get us into a position which better reflects the way we’ve played.”
”With the efforts that all of the players have put in I know we can achieve this and hopefully enjoy a strong run between now and the end of the season.”
Without tempting fate, Pools have a easier run in than others, and they have the perfect opportunity to claim points, starting today against fifth bottom Southend.
”We need to go out against Southend, create more chances, score some goals and get the three points.”
The reverse fixture sparked a Pools’ downfall, after leading 2-0 at the interval, Pools fell to a 3-2 defeat, since then Pools have record 2 wins in three months, and haven’t had the rub of the green.
