Pools have this afternoon announced a trio of youngsters have agreed loan spells with local non league clubs. Striker Andy Appleby has joined Blyth Spartans, whilst midfielder brothers Stephen Turnbull and Philip Turnbull have both made the switch to Gateshead.
Stephen Turnbull has made 10 appearances for Pools first team this season with starts against Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and MK Dons.
All three players will no doubt gain invaluble experience and play regular first team football during their spell away from Victoria Park.
