What a mouthful this is, Hartlepool travel to the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium on Saturday to face Dagenham.

Wasn’t the ground previous called Victoria Road? Whatever it is this is where Pools are going for the next league two fixture.

Neil Austin is doubtful for Hartlepool with a toe injury, which meant him having to go off against Scunthorpe last week.

There is better news for Jordan Richards though as he is able to return from a three-match suspension and could be a ready made replacement.

Performances recently have been good according to Colin Cooper but he’s been left frustrated at not winning, the Daggers aren’t going to be easy and he knows it as they go in search of a win.

Ahead of the game Cooper told BBC Tees: ‘We played very well against Scunthorpe but their goalkeeper pulled off some great saves.

‘It’s frustrating that we’ve had three performances recently where we’ve been excellent but not won.

‘Our last two wins have come when we haven’t been great, which shows how vital it is to keep defensively solid.

‘Dagenham are dangerous with two out-and-out wingers in a 4-4-2 and they’re very strong at home.’
