There’s little let up for Hartlepool as we’re swiftly back in league 2 action, although we’re away this time.

Hartlepool are looking to build on successive cleansheets and four points from the last six points available when we head to Sixfields to take on Northampton Town this evening.

Northampton will have Kaid Mohamed (foot) back but ‘keeper Matt Duke (thigh) will be out for a month with injury so Dean Snedker has been recalled from a loan with Brackley.

Stuart Parnaby (hamstring) was forced to sit out the nil-nil draw with Tranmere Rovers at the weekend, having limped away from the win over Shrewsbury Town, but he should be back for us.

Michael Duckworth (hamstring) though will miss out it seems but could be back for the weekend.

Ahead of the game Colin Cooper told the official website: ‘It looked as though it was a bit of a toil at times, but I’m satisfied in that we backed up last week with something to get ourselves two clean sheets and four points.’
