Hartlepool United defender Hugh Robertson is back on the Victoria Park sick list after just one game. Robertson successfully completed the full 90 minutes of Pools 2-1 win over Bournemouth, but he suffered a knee injury in training last week and was ruled out of last Saturday’s defeat at Walsall.
Robertson will go to see a specailist this week to discover the extent of this fresh setback. Pools gaffer Martin Scott said:-
‘It’s disappointing for the lad because he’s only played once this season and did ever so well. He’s been ever so patient in coming back in to the side so to break down so early after his comeback will be devastating for him. We’ll get him looked at again now and see where we go from here.’
Sad news indeed for Hugh, hopefully the news from the specialist won’t be too bad and he can get back into training pretty soon.
