Pools Promoted To League One

We only needed a point but Richie Barker’s 81st minute header secured all three as Pools secured promotion to League One this afternoon.

That’s Pools 21st victory in the last 26 games and it’s been a run which has seen Pools romp back to League One. With three games still remaining we cannot be caught by the play off pack so it’s party time.

Danny Wilson will no doubt allow his players a day off tomorrow to celebrate, but on Monday morning it’s back to the training ground as there is still the small matter of a the League Championship to play for.

Well done Danny Wilson, all the players and staff at Victoria Park and perhaps mostly importantly, well done to all the Poolies who have followed the side throughout the season, awesome support once again today.
