Hartlepool’s FA Cup second round meeting with Blyth Spartans has been selected for television coverage on the BBC next month.
The local derby is one that BBC2 viewers, Pools fans aside obviously, will be watching on in the hope of the Northern Premier League side causing another FA Cup upset like they did in the first round to beat Altrincham.
We’ll certainly not want that though! We’ll want a win to get into the third round.
Due to the BBC coverage we’ll now have to play this game on the Friday night, 5th December, and that’s a pain but isn’t unexpected at all that his is being shown live.
The program will start at 7:30pm.
