New Era New Pools Hope?

We don’t know too much about Peter Harris or TMH 2014 Limited but we do know that they are now the new owners of Pools after they took over from IOR, to see Ken Hodcroft go, on Tuesday.

Should we worry about the fact that TMH 2014 Limited were only set up six days ago or be more thankful that IOR’s 17 years of ownership are now over? We didn’t seem to be going anywhere, but down, under them but will TMH be any different? A move that’s come out of nowhere.

This is a question that’ll be answered as we go forward but this new era does bring new hope at the Vic.

Ronnie Moore’s confirmation as our new manager shortly after this takeover also brings us the experienced head that we’ve needed, as much as the younger options of Coops and Paul Murray had to start somewhere starting with us, with hindsight, wasn’t right for either but Moore’s been around the block and will know a few tricks of the trade to help us out.

IOR’s investment in recent years has really dried up but we have a lot to be thankful for from those years of ownership and Hodcroft at the helm but we’ve got a new era and hope now, I’m going to be positive and not pessimistic about this that’ll bring a bright new dawn!

We’ll not be given untold riches though, and anyone that thinks we will is going to be disappointed.
