Whitley Bay have extended the loan of Hartlepool’s Josh Nearney for another month.
The defender joined the non-league side in September with him making eight appearances for the EBAC Northern League Division One club so far, with his loan at Hillheads Park now due to run until Saturday 5th November.
Nearney did pick up an eye injury at the weekend, which forced him off against Washington on Saturday but this isn’t expected to any anything too serious with the 21-year-old set to continue without missing any matches.
