Chris Turner has revealed that he is close to completing a deal to bring trialist Paul Murray to the club on a full time basis.
The former Shrewsbury man was released at the end of last term but he has impressed during his month long trial at Hartlepool. Now ahead of Pools’ opening game with Rochdale, Turner is hopeful the midfielder will be a Pools player.
”We’re working on things behind the scenes and hopefully we can get the deals done. I’m hoping at least Paul will be available on Saturday.”
However a deal for Fabian Yantoro is touch and go, and it looks like Yantoro may just miss out on signing before Friday’s deadline ”It’s a bit more complicated though with Fabian due to the required international clearance.” Turner told the official site.
