Despite the fact Devante Rodney was signed from Sheffield Wednesday last week another attacking playing is being linked with a move to Hartlepool, which could mean Middlesbrough’s Bradley Fewster returns.

Rodney’s arrival was confirmed on the Official Site on Friday with the 18 year old signed on a permanent basis.

As is Hartlepool’s way the length of deal signed wasn’t revealed but we knew he would wear the no.38 shirt and was put down as a ‘strong and pacy striker’ with it thought Pools would offer Rodney the ‘perfect platform’ to show what he can do.

If reports in the Northern Echo are correct 20 year old Fewster could come back to Victoria Park having seen his previous loan spell cut short in October.

With Fewster – who enjoyed a successful loan with York last season – back in training and almost back to full fitness it has been claimed Middlesbrough are ready to permit a temporary return until the end of the season.
