First incident of the game gave us an idea of what would happen. 3 minutes in and Richards gets a red. It probably was a red card but referees discretion and past performances by the officials makes you think if it was right! James came off and Collins came on which was a strange one considering we had a full back on the bench.
Rest of the game was pretty poor, Flinders made a couple of brilliant saves early in the 2nd half though. Parkin knocked in a great finish which looked to edge it, but then they scored another which was less deserved.
We played a bit after that, our only big chance though was Monky hitting the bar from outside the box in the 75th minute!
Marlon Harewood did nothing, but to be fair his game was set after the red card, he never got an ounce of service which could be due to us trying to fight a tide with 10 men for 90 minutes.
Overall the game deserved a 0-0 draw. We’re getting dragged in to it.
